That might be by design as some novices may struggle with 4-6lb braid, without guidance. Anyhow, you could do far worse than recommend that as a starter kit. It's hard to persuade people to get into lure fishing when they don't want to part with $100 rod reel combo +braid cost&leader +jighead+SP.
