Snapper at cabirita

I don't have a photo but I thought snapper are more of like ocean fish and swim around openings of rivers that lead to ocean I didnt think they go that far up and apperantly theres kingfish around cabirita am I wrong or do they really go this far up in the river?

The juveniles swim up. I have caught them all the way to upper cowan creek.

Oh the snapper or kings but you are right if your talking about snapper it wasnt legal for sure

Kings definitely do, I have seen them up to Morrison Bay chasing jelly prawn
