Grey blank 2 piece with glass on glass ferrule Obviously needs work the old epoxy is flaking, I’m afraid stripping it might take the writing with it, can it be saved? What does AWB stand for ? Ryder Posted September 17 Author Share Posted September 17 I carefully chipped away at the epoxy and it took most of the writing with it, there is faint wording I should be able to trace with a paint pen. Ryder Posted September 20 Author Share Posted September 20 I’ve stripped the rest it and given it a bit of a clean and the blank is in excellent condition. A few minor scratches that could come out with Cream Cut & Polish I was a little worried about stripping the transition to the glass ferrule, but it turned out super smooth underneath. Being a 2 piece all the guides are on the top section so I can work on the butt separately. I’ve got a new set of Fuji Lumos, I’ll give the blank 6 coats of U40 permagloss and we’re good to go. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
