Stiffer blank or softer blank distance casting

Hi guys

For distance casting of the rocks. For 2 rods rated  Is a stiffer blank or softer blank better for distance casting?

I was comparing a penn prevail 2 13 ft 8- 20kg 40g - 200g casting weight 

Compared to a storm gomuku 13 ft 10-15kg 65g to 150g casting weight

Veritas 12 ft 12-20kg 40g -150g casting weight

 

Both the veritas and the storm has a far stiffer blank. The penn feels kinda of whippy.

Can I have some advice on which one is better for chucking a paternoster rig out far?
