  1. Cheers mate, I can remember the lake being really tough going.. The only problem is you can only hire boats in the lake and cant take them out into jimmys.. I spose I could flick SPs off the beach and see what I come up with.. I remember the mouth of the lake down the end uf jimmys used to be ok..

  3. Hi Guys, Looking for somewhere to go this weekend (within an hour drive of Sydney, I dont mind driving up the coast) to throw a few SP's around for Flattys and Bream.. I would be looking to do this by foot as I dont have easy access to a boat. If I can get my hands on a boat where can I go? Any spots or info would be great guys.. Thanks Lads, have a great week... 4. Hey guys, Well we have finally purchased our first boat and cant wait to get out fishing. We are in Sydney and look to fish down around pittwater and in the harbour and maybe just outside the harbour if its a good enough day. Its a 16 1/2 foot halfcab with an 80 hp on the back. How far out can you generally go that is safe in these? Where are good places to fish around Sydney targeting species such as Jews, Kingies, Flatties and the like? Cheers guys any tips or pointers would be great.. Mick

  7. Hey guys, Was just reading this on another forum (not fishing related) Is this true or a load of shit? STRAY dogs are being skewered on hooks and dragged behind boats as live shark bait, The Sun can shockingly reveal. The cruel practice takes place on French-controlled Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean, where Prince William spent two holidays. A six-month-old labrador pup was recently found ALIVE with a huge double hook through its snout - like the dog above - and another through a leg. The pup was found in a coastal creek and is thought to have somehow freed itself from a fishing line. But other dogs and kittens have been chomped up and swallowed by sharks. The RSPCA plans to petition the French government, demanding an end to the hideous torture. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2005450117,00.html (the photo is pretty horrible.) If it is true that is well and truely f*cked up, has anyone else heard of it hapenning?
