new certate! 2500 if you're using an 8 strand braid 3000 for 4 strand braid then you can tell us how it is! =P it sure looks amazing you can get it online from japan already same with the new stella new certate is about half the price though

hey everyone, i've been browsing a few saltwater reels and was wondering about some size differences. for example: Daiwa Saltiga Z 4500, spool holds pe3, 300m Shimano Stella SW 6000, spool hold pe3, 300m is this XXXX (thousand value) some arbitrary thing made up by each company? or is there a standard? just wondering if the shimano 6000 is physically as big as a daiwa 6000? or is how much the spool holds a better indication of size? thanks in advance

just wondering what your thoughts are on 5 piece rods? some people reckon they feel like 1 piece rods these days can anyone confirm this? or that they're good? was thinking something like this daiwa morethan 76mlx-5 english is pretty broken no matter which translator you use haha go the businessman!

haha well silly me went and bought a rod in a hurry got home and checked it was 2-5kg rated instead of the 4-6kg i wanted going to go exchange it tomorrow (but was feeling quite lazy and wondering if i could get away with it lol) i'm after a medium kingy/jew/snapper rod to match my daiwa exceler 3000 with 20lb sunline braid price range ideally under 300$ should i be looking for 5-8kg class for this braid? oh and mostly fishing from the rocks thanks for your help =D

just wondering, do the ratings on a rod also imply particular breaking strains for that equipment? for instance. if i load a 2-5kg rated rod with 10kg braid and catch something feisty, will the fish break the rod? just say a daiwa sol rod in light and in med/heavy TD-SOL 701 LXS Spin 7’0” 1 Light Fast 1/16-¼oz 4-8lb TD-SOL 701 MHFS Spin 7’0” 1 Med Heavy Fast ⅜-⅝oz 10-17lb is the med/heavy actually a stronger rod? and has larger guides?
