Hi Fellow Raiders, I've just returned from a trip up north visiting a friend of mine who has introduced me to soft plastics. Now I'm hooked (no pun intended). I would like to know what I would need for a basic set up, like, type of rod, type of reel, type of braid and types of plastics, just to get me started. I would like to target bream and flathead. I would really appreciate everyone's expertise here. Regards Deek

My sincere condolences to family and friends. StessL 72, my mate was taken by a White Pointer about 15 years ago and I STILL can't believe he's gone. So my thoughts are with you as well. Deek

I also squirt a small amount of Morning Fresh dishwashing liquid in behind the ear muffs. I'm told it's suppose to help keep the impellor lubed. Don't know if that's true or not. Cheers Deek

G'day Hoges, I was up around there last weekend. Try around the 3 green markers in front of Dangar Island. Pulled up a couple of Flounder, and a tailer. Hi guys only new here and just getting back into fishing after a 10 year break. I have recently purchased a new boat and been doing a bit around Botany Bay/Georges river.
