i hit the bay saturday and caught trevs and small squire , had small rats chasing my baits to the surface but would not take it , water temp was around 16.5 , very quiet and repotrs back at the ramp were the same . hopefully will get better, cheers paul

what a top effort thats what i was looking for last night but didnt pan out , once again well done to all on board cheers paul

gday fellow raiders , went out last night for a jewy session at flint n steel , fished there from 4 - 9pm without any runs saw one boaty land what i think was a jewy but couldnt see properly but by the way they were high fiving and cheering , think it was , anyways all we got were heaps of tailor which was fun and port jackson after port jackson , called it a night as the wind picked up and headed to little pittwater bay for some shelter and shut eye , 6am pulled anchor and headed outside to see what was around , we went to a little reef i know of palm beach where ive pulled some nice reddies and mowies in the past , was plenty of rubbish being caught red rockys,sergant bakers,tailor, baby snapper etc , then about 9am WACK started fighting it which felt like a shovel nose or ray but as it neared the boat my new pb flatty 70cms , i was stoked took a few pics then swam the big girl for a while then watched her swim to fight another day took a video of her release but not sure how to put in on , i would also like to enter her into this months catch of the month cheers paul

well done on your 1st jewy im sure theyll be more to come , ill have to agree with tides n knots i caught a 13kg jewy on a fresh fillet or tailor near taronga zoo and have caught others in the hawksberry and FRESH tailor , its mt number 1 bait for jewys cheers paul

gday mate and we were going to head out tonight in the boat for an all nighter around flint ans steel but with the weather looking a bit blowy , the mrs canned it but i thought it would be good to target some jewys tonight , anyways good luck and let us no how it goes cheers paul.

well done mate , we also found it very tough despite the lovely conditions outside , we tried all the reefs from north head way down to bondi only the bring home 1 mowy and 1 flatty ,despite not many fish around it was top day on the water. cheers paul

gady m8 was a top day on the water yet no fish around,we tried every reef arond sydney with only 1 unlucky mowy,stumbled across 1 unlucky flatty that came home with us but thats it!! had a chat with 2 other boaties at tunks and they came up with the same result,top weather yet no fish around,so dont feel bad it was slow all around cheers paul

cheers m8 , makes perfect sense and appreciate your feedback (tictac) , ill try her out on half a capsule and hope it works for her , she hates getting crook outside and hopefully soon ill be putting up a post just for her cheers paul
