  5. Well done m8 conditions were so good with that wind vanishing after 1.30 , we trolled outside for a few dollys but had to head in , water temp definately down and quiet outwide overall, once again gr8 effort with the snapper in a short session ?
  6. I rate them as one of the best eating fish i have tasted .
  7. Were you cleaning the flatty and all those squid ?
  8. The bigger bull took the outrigger the other took the short corner , very happy with both poles.

  11. Hi guys tried out my new outriggers yesterday launched at tunks around 4.30 and picked up some livies b4 heading out , got to the heads and was greeted with a large swell and a SW wind around 10 knots , trolled out to a few fads and dropped some livies down but only baby dollies in close , moved out wider towards browns and the shelf with strikes coming from stripeys only , moved in closer and noticed a fish trap in the distance so steamed over to it then bang double hookup , it was mayham for about 15 minutes with me and my m8 dancing around each other trying to keep our lines straight but finally with a team effort pulled up my mates with him grabbibg the tail and me lifting the head luckily mine stayed hooked and we opened the back door to slide mine in and up with both safe on board , it was my 1st but that measured a touch over 140cms and not sure about the weight as my scales only go to 20kgs with this bull maxing them out so 20 plus kgs , tight lines everyone
  12. Gday Al is was the same story with us great conditions but not one turned a reel we came out through sydney early went to 1st fad but only tiny kings there plenty of bait moved out to waverider for donuts ., then trolled north to palmy in 70 -80 phantoms for zero then headed wider and came back south to browns with water near 26 degrees then back to 12 mile / fad for zero......so after 7 hours and 160 kms covered called it a tough day and headed in.......like you said just 1of those days
  13. Great report champ and congrats with a top catch and release , well done

  16. Hi raiders been a while and happy new year , headed out this morning with dad launching from bellambi , conditions looked great and water temp was around 22.5 , arrived at the humps with nothing doing small squire seargent bakers and pickers , moved in closer to pick up a feed of flattys
  17. Gday Raiders hit parsley Bay at 5am and headed out to boultons only to pick up small reddies and Tiny flattys , moved a little North to pull up a couple of nice size flattys , conditions where lovely with a light norwester and water temp at 16.9 c although fishing was quiet it was great to finally get out on our way back in pulled up in between Lion Island and barrenjoey head land to clean down the boat and fish , while in the process I chucked out nice slab of fish filet , just as we'd finished doing the wash down my rod bends and line starts peeling off after a 5 minute fight we get this beautiful gummy to the side of the boat , as i go to grab the tail she kicks and goes for another run ,finally get her up again but this time grab the net and bingo she's on board , despite being 1 of the best eating fish in the ocean we decide to set her free to fight another day , so to rap it up superb day out, fishing a little quiet but had a great time
