  1. gday fellow raiders today i was doing a job over at Caringbah and decided to try out these ET seasick tablets that ive heard good feedback from for my daughter whos 9 and keen as mustard to come out with me fishing , but was told by the chemist that they are recommeneded for 12 years and older because there stronger than normal seasick tablets , but also told me that it was up to me whether she could use them or not , my question is has anyone else who has children younger than 12 used these ET seasick tablets on there kids? i ended up buying them and my daughter wants to try them out this weekend , but im not sure if i should ?. any advice would be greatly appreciated. cheers paul

  11. gday fellow raiders and happy new year to all ,been a while since ive posted but finally have a report worth doing , just got back from holidays down at from lake tabourie and fishing was very quiet with the water temp around the 18-20 mark ,managed a feed but was a bit dissapointed (but hey take the good with the bad),anyways were back now so i wanted to try hit the hawksberry for a jewy , headed out monday arvo with all the good signs there for a jewy, tides, moon, water temp etc, sharon wasnt that keen but i talked her into coming , since shes never caught 1 before, arrived at bobbin head boat ramp about 4.30 and had trouble started the merc, luckily a fellow fisherman seen i was having trouble and offered me some advice which worked a treat and we were off , arrived at flint&steel about half hour later and dropped the pick and started the berley trail, didnt take long and sharon was on, nice little shovel nose, not what we were after but the berley was working, not long after that i had a little port jackson which was quickly released, then sharon caught the same, then my 6500 shimano bait runner went off a good 15 second run (which is music to my ears) saw a 1 metre plus school shark next to the boat, but as soon as he felt the net 1 big swipe with the tail went straight through my 30 pound mono (flake another time) anyway not long after that sharon reel done the same but not as long, after a short fight i saw the silver and purple and new she was on to her 1st jewy safetly in the net it was offical 60cm jewy (good on ya babe),she was stoked as was i, that had made our night, but that wasnt the end, just before high tide her rod went off again and after a nice 5 minute fight up comes another one, this time 80cms of beautiful jewy (shes on fire and not a bad way to upgrade your pb)and im so proud of her! ,we also seen a big seal tossing jewys around in the air before eating them ,sure was a sight to see,it swam right next to our boat and it was massive, you dont realise how big these creatures are till your right next to them, anyway it was a great night out and cant wait to do it again, heres a few pics of our evening.(all fish were caught on the old faithful pilly) ps,can i enter her into catch of the month (for that 80cm jewy thats the 1 im holding at night),her sign in name is chester666 or does she have to do it her self? cheers paul
