  21. gday raiders and happy new year to all , just got back from our holiday down at lake tabourie , the weather was beautiful and the fishing was fair , the water was cooler than usual at around the 20 degree mark , we managed to get out 3 times for a fish and ended up with a nice feed of quality eating fish , the 1st outing didnt work out to plan as we were targeting snapper , no reef species were playing ball so i went to a flatty spot down near crampton island to at least get a feed , 2nd outing was better , i put the boat in at ulladulla and decided not to go as far down as i no a few reefs off burril lake and this is were sharon got here pb snapper 58 cm ended up with 4 nice snapper and 2 mowies for our efforts , the 3rd and final outing we hit the same reef yet to only pull bait fish , so we moved around a bit without success , it was around 9am and we had to be in by 10.30am and had nothing to show for , finally the wind changed to a nor easter which changed our drift so i went back to the earlier reef and bang we were on again , not as good as the last time but managed 2 nice snapper and 2 mowies and 1 gummy shark that went 1 metre on the dot and was released , so ended up with a nice feed of fish for our holidays plus some came home with us , cant wait to get back down there cheers paul.
  22. well done to the flatty "never give up" , away to fight another day cheers paul
