Finnaly got the boat out after 4 weeks off,set up at the opening to paddeys and woy woy channell, with a sttrong nnw blowing and the current moving just, anchored and put out burley bucket and some other burley mix, didnt stay in my area any way that was ok,we were all using prawns my wife and my son and i had a line out with a prawn on it,just in case,i was also flicking around a SP.The finder was peeping its you know whats off,,good sign as been dead for weeks, any way caught meself two small snappa and my son also pulled in two small snapper as well.this went on with small bream then snappa, then my sons reel is screaming(he only uses a small 6 foot light rod )so it sounds and looks huge and for him it is,he was struggling to wind so i was helping pulling by hand and it was his first trevally,31cm of that also and what a nice looking species they are, went and had some lunch and a swim but the misses was to freaked buy the swell at box head so headed back in side, any way ended up getting another half dozen snapper around some moured boats and had a great day on the water..........time for a nice coldy now, catch ya:thumbup:
