Actually got full safety check done in Brisbane water near the rip on saturday,checked all safety,PFDs,Licence,Fire ext,rego ect,actual police boat i was also breath tested last Aussie Day by the same cops,good to see they are out there

Here is some uglies from under the ripbridge also caught about a dozen under sized snapper and whiting,great day besides.

Hi,i was just wondering if i could get any advise on any reefs within the 2-3 ks from lion island ect to fish as i will be going out of box head ect,i saw couple of boats just a bit out from head land is this a reef,any help appreciated,thanks Lion Island

Howdy all,took my son out of school early friday afternoon and went out to try lion island was out about 1 hour and only scored one flatty just on size limit,then slowly made our way across back to little box and box head ,found a nice spot tucked in away from howling NW wind,we hadnt had a pleep on the finder the hole time around lion but this spot it was showing some decent sums of various size fish so was pleased,.My son scored a taylor which was released.his first ever,then he scored three small flattys I also got one,then on a small rod had a great fight with a solid Trev,was running and the fight was great,then my son also after i hooked reeled in another Trevally,after a nice little fight for him,any way was a cracking day out and was spewing about leaving as the water had smoothed and the wind eased,but the misses was calling..

may sound silly but oil in arms(hydralic) may be low or gone,happen to me just refilled and was like new.

What a day at work,LOL i wont your job bud..

awsome mate,great boat will it work out cheaper or are you just going for it as you wont it regadless,i will looking sometime next year for new hull and will be very interested in your venture.Keep us posted:thumbup:

Yeah that it is,i love it no use working if we cant enjoy the money made from it,i also just replaced the front window perspex which will make it easier to sell in the future, the boat has taken over my garage now as a permanant fixture,dont want to leave it out in this never ending rain.
