  1. Here’s some pics of the old girl. Motor had no issues and used to push the heavy beast with ease.
  2. Unfortunately my Haines Hunter V17 must go. Transom is removed and cleaned out. Needs someone to replace marine ply. Trailer included and V6 Mercury 135 HP Outboard seperate. If anyone is keen let me know. 👍

  7. Great catch.Future fishing in the GR looking great with fat ass breeders like that around.First place I ever fished was the GR,with dad teaching me,many years ago. Oh,and we always had KFC on the way home....and its still there lol.

  9. Fresh trev is great,but raw trevs are best...one of my favourite sashimis.Mate of mine who is a Sushi chef put me on to them.
  10. Beep at start up is usually an indicator oil injection is working.Rectifier converts AC to DC,regulator just controls output charge.Most models now are (All in one) regulator/rectifiers.
  11. Very nice job on the video.Great solo job...left hand fisherman,right hand deckie. Can you tell me if you anchor or drift out there?.....i hate anchoring in the deep,especially on my own.
  12. What Paikea said.They are a friendly inquisitive fish and often swim up to divers.I am getting soft...struggled killing squid the other day lol.

  15. Nice one.Pound for pound one of the best fighters.I usually throw them back,but been told there not bad to eat when smoked.Anyone tried that or even sashimi?

Hey linc,very nice catch.That sashimi looks great.Tell me did you bleed the King straight away.They say the sooner the better especially for sashimi.Wait till ya get on to some decent Trevs,now thats my favourite sashimi. We should all team up and open a seafood restaraunt....call it "Catch of the day"

  25. Used to give my Chinese/Pub Chef mate my flatties to cook up.Tempura battered fillets with sweet/sour sauce on a bed of fried rice.Half the pub lining up for a taste test on a saturday arvo......Miss the El Cortez Hotel.
