1. I too have different height vehicles , 1 is a ba falcon and a ford territory towing a 6m glass boat. Forget moving axles every time you change vehicles ,get the correct tongue(ball mount)in general the draw bar should be close to level. The maximum ball weight is 10% of the towing capacity of the towbar eg my falcon has a max of 2300kg so the ball weight is 230kg.I have a ball weight of 170kg .
2. navionics app on your phone or your gps unit in the boat

RHODES BOAT RAMP

I HAVE A 4X4 AND A BA FALCON ,USE BOTH OFF THEM NO PROBLEM AT ALL,AT LOW TIDE THE CONCRETE BLOCKS ARE A BIT SLIPPERY ON THE FEET BUT NEVER HAVE ANY WHEEL SPIN
MY BOAT IS 6M AND ON BUNKS, I PASS THE ROPE ATTACHED TO THE REAR OF THE BOAT TO MY WIFE WHO IS ON THE WALK WAY HEADING TO THE PONTOON AND FLOAT THE BOAT OFF.MOST THE TIME I DRIVE THE BOAT ONNEVER BUSY AND NO HASSLE COMPAIRED TO DRUMMOYNE.IT IS LONGER TO THE HEADS BUT FOR ME CLOSER TO HOME AND DONT HAVE TO DRIVE BACK IN THE TRAFFIC.JUST REMEMBER NOT HAVING THE CORRECT BALL
WEIGHT CAN INCREASE WHEEL SPIN

FINS ON OUTBOARD

Hi I think gazza is talking about smart tabs look them up www.nauticusinc.com or you can fit SLT TABS from www.bennetttrimtabs.com. Only problem is they will have constant drag in the water, they have a certain amount of resitance built into them. I have recently fitted bennett m120 tabs to my boat which are hydraulic probably over kill on your boat but it has made my boat a totaly different boat .& before any 1 says about checking motor height (bit hard to change when the motor is a inboard)those SMART or SLT self LEVELING tabs are cheap and will get you on the plane faster
7. HI,i recently have fitted bennett trim tabs to my boat with position indicater.I had a few hurdles cause of the design of my transom so I was corresponding with bennetts in the usa. They have absolutely first class customer service,so give them a email. They have been in the business for over fifty years. They put me in contact with their distributer here in aus (HAROLD MARINE) who supplied all the bits I needed.Best of luck
8. I know I might get hammered for my comments but some times the truth hurts.I did my truck licence about 10 years ago & 1 of the multiple answer ? was what you should check before entering a freeway, I put tyres but the correct answer was fuel. Apparently lots of drivers run out,i have always said to friends if you get towed back cause you ran out of fuel you should pay, marine rescue have put themselves at risk while the other party are out having a good time fishing ,maybe next time the skipper should fill the boat up before heading out
