thanks penguin,thanks guys. we set a good drift and caught mostly all of it except the occy,crab and about 3 flatties on the second drift. cr@zy faridation had brought along some prawns on the boat so i suggested the we should set a second drift using sp,s and throw out a hand line with a prawn,the handline scored 2undersized snapper while the sp,s were going nuts. if you ask me, sp,s =10 bait =1

hit the bay yesterday at around 10.30am with cr@zy faridation for a fish. caught 2 nice sized whiting one going 36cm and fat then got a fat bream going around 40cm plus a good amount of flatties and cr@zy faidation scored himself an occy as well as a nice size blue swimmer crab. it was all caught on soft plastics. heres some pics pic1 pic2 pic 3

decided to hit the harbour early morning with cr@zy faridation and another mate with just soft plastics,still tired with no sleep we bump into penguin at a set of lights on our way to rose bay,we have a quick chat and take off,head out to north head to try for snapper,no luck so we head back inside when my sounders go blank ,possibly a fuse. so we set a few drifts not far from the h.bridge flicking soft plastics,we got 2 nice flatties,one bream,one legal snapper and last of all i score a thumping fat sand whiting on 4 pound fireline and 6 lb leader it measured at 41.8 cm. all in all a good day,mark kept all the fish for his oldies to eat,they were happy with the feed once he got home hehe

well done,i caught around 40cm in the harbour at the kingy social event on a sp at around 11am, im sure it would have been better for me in the arvo but my mate was getting sea sick

i was there at the start of the year and it was fine

the other day i was flicking soft plastics when i landed two big flatties,one on bait and the other on a sp. i got the flattie without s factor i then used s factor and got nothing,my mate flicks a lot using no s factor and i was using it that day and he out did me by a few without using it at all

no i havent. go to the local bait shop ,they should give it to you. bit of a ride out there

try seals rock. as for broughton,try the shallow side early morning

new sp called shakers,they are really good,they are supposed to be really good for jewies also.

hit the bay to meet up with another mate of ours,he wanted to take out his boat as he hasnt taken it out since the last trevally social.cr@zy faridation and myself met up with him and his brother at about 10 in the morning and headed towards cronulla ,dropped a prong with a pillie on it, within 5 min once we were there, we got hit on it,it was a hoodlum king,as it got close to the boat it took off and it was gone,weird on a squid prong.started to get choppy so we headed inside the bay. our mate left early so cr@zy faridation and myself stuck it out even though it wasnt the best day to be fishing. we hung around for the run out tide. i scored two nice size flathead one at 68cm and the other at 75cm with a really big wide head on her and we both got a nice size whiting each. the 68cm flattie was caught on a prawn and the other was on a sp. have pics but for some reason it wont upload on here.

well done on scoring a top quality eating fish. what did you get it on,bait or sp. where abouts did you get it.

i was speaking to a guy that i know fishes the harbour regularly and as he was squidding i thought i would ask him whats with all these leatheries lying around dead ,he told me that he saw a trawler from a far dumping them and has reported it,they are investigating it

sorry to hear about your boat mate. would have been good to know what was that busted you off,more then likely kings,esp the size of them . atleast you took home a good feed.we hit the harbour and caught around 15 rat kings on soft plastics
