Hey raiders, I've been hitting the syd harbour waterways fishing for jewfish, a few night sessions but mostly morning sessions, the jewfish have been hitting. In three trip landing 6, not fantastic but they have been more consistent. Biggest measuring 83cm. Last night did a night session and managed two one 60 and the other 72cm. Use livies, squid and fillets, with the two been caught on fresh squid. Got absolutely smoked by a big Jew on the livie. So if u get the chance head out cause its starting to pick up slowly.

So you've been out there recently? How'd you go?

Anyone planning to go out to the peak or 12mile this weekend? Thinking maby to go try go for a jig?

um not too common that size, but further out sydney is quiet common, looks like there still around when i was at the gap lookout south head yesterday

hey mate, this was just off the heads, basically right in between them, there were birds working this area and also around the colours aswell, went out there but they were really spooky. I was using halco twisty 15gram lures

went out yesterday, as the conditions looked picture perfect on the winds side, but on the swell side not too much. havent been out on the water for a while so decided to go for a little cruise, worked my way out to the heads and saw some bird activity, as soon as we got close they moved on. by the splashes and way the fished moved i knew they were stripe tuna, I knew they were going to be a pain in the backside to hook up, we managed 4 with the biggest being a 5kg, good fun on my new shimano t-curve Tornament setup on 10 pount braid and 10 pound leader, hope the fishing picks up, nand hope that swell does aswell so i can go out looking for the bigger tuna johno,

if u dnt mind me asking how far offshore u got the kings?

that bloke that hooked up was one of my good mates, he hooked it on snapper gear being 30 pound braide and 30 pound leader, fighting it for 4 hours, ending up breaking free in the end, he was spewing

hey raiders, i am based in sydney, along witht the yellowfin and kings out real wide, i am planning to go for a fishing trip either up or down the coast, basing my spots on species of fish like tuna, marlin and kings, possibly snapper: any recommendations? thinking jervis bay if the tuna run sounds good?

hey raiders On the 19th till the 26th of november me and my mate will be at byron bay. Bringing up some rods and keen to do abit of heavy land base fishing since ill be bringing up my new saltist and spheros's. Iv never been there, but can you fish off thbe rocks up there to get some nice big fish? what type of fish are round that area and any tips on rigs baits or places to fish?

went for a fish for them this weekend inside sydney harbour and looks like they've turned up, i caught 3 biggest at 82 still a nugget but nice to start the season.

hey raiders. im looking to put a live bait tank in my center console. but the problem is that i want it to my exact size? does any make or know anyone that will be able to make me a live bait tank out of aluminium or plastic to my dimensions? looking to hear from you

hey fellow raiders. im looking to put a new/second hand motor on my stacer 529 northern fisher CC. getting mixed debaits on which motor to be. here are my options.all the motors in which i wana get have to be above the 2002 model range and definately have under 160 hours -70 or 90 hp yamaha 2 stroke -60 or 70 hp yamaha 4 stroke -60 or 75 hp mecury 4 troke -60, 75 or 90 hp evinrude etec. the only reason why i want it second hand is the price issue but good second hand outboards are hard to find. if you could please help me out with what outboard to buy and with some reasons. thanks johno
