Are you getting chris to do the canopy??? There is a place up near coffs harbour that will help modify your transom....a little too far away though..They are called "Just Fibreglass". http://www.justfibreglass.com.au/

You can add a transom mount (see pic) and incororate the bait tank in the space inbetween the back seats...it doesn't allow you to put in 1 long bench seat though...i think you'll lose too much room if you put a bench in anyway...

I think the major thing to be aware of is the fact that trout need coolish water...if it gets too warm they will die. Buying a chiller for a fish tank is pretty pricey i believe...what i used to do on those hot summer days is put a frozen drink bottle(full of frozen water, of course) in the tank to keep it at a reasononal temp.

Ive kept 2 pinkies and 2 sweep, all about 2 inches long, for about 6 months in a tank before releasing them.... Have you had the filter running in the tank for the past 8 months??? If not, i would suggest you run the filter for about a month before adding anything to it...test for ph, amonia, nitrates and nitrites... Im not too sure how hard it is to keep trout, just make sure you do regular water changes...

For $400...your better off getting a cheap eagle and a hand held gps for the speed....might end up a little over $400.
