And too add, what's the best method of removing it from a fibreglass boat?
I can't remember what I used. But try Starbrite Hull Cleaner and then wax and polish.
Goof Off is also a good product to clean fibreglass and won't damage it.

I am about 180cm, my launcher is about 190cm high. At time I have to tippy toe to put the rods up but I think that is a perfect height. For me anyway.

I guess as long as you are in water there is a chance!
Nice boat mate, is that a Whittley?
-
Not at the moment. You are thinking of getting one for what reason in particular?
-
Lol, whoever gave you the tip doesn't like you!
Jewy, just go to the known spots. Brooklyn rail bridge, Flint and Steel and Juno point
-
If my motor died, I wouldn't even be able to pull the cowling off in the water. So no chance of trying to work on it!
Paddles and oars won't really be able to assist! I would just have to drop anchor and wait for help.

Haha, lately seabreeze has been quite bad! Use at least 3 sources and combine their data and then assume the worst case scenario.
Seabreeze
BOM
Willy weather!

Yes you need flares, v sheet + a few others like torch, whistle etc

I used to do this with my cars back in the day until they introduced the annual fee.
-
I do have it! $200

Take it to the tip. Free

Is this the hilux you have?

Hey mate, I am pretty sure I kept mine, but I still haven't been home to check it. I might need another 2 weeks.

I have to see over the weekend.

I have three locks on mine, but mine locked up in a garage with another 3 locks or so. But like others say, just a deterrent.
For insurance, I have been with a few but the last two boats have been with Club Marine and I fine them really good.
Had to make a claim over a year ago, they got it all sorted quite quickly and were happy for me to choose a repairer.
Then the other day had a blowout on the freeway. They came to help as the tyre was wrapped around the disc. Arrived in 30mins.

Ian sells them! I went through a whole upgrade on my 2005 boat and bought the ones from Ian. Same holes.
If you just want the antenna, I think I kept mine which will fit your base. I just have to double check I kept it.

Wow, was this midweek? When was the water ever that flat?
-
Look at that shiny trailer... make sure you look after that just as much as the boat! I would love to have a new trailer again!
I have a tinka trailer too. Awesome trailers!
-
Good to see you have OCD like me
Looks great - but being OCD I would make sure the floor carpet was the same as the bench one
-
Yea I forgot the Marlin for the return trip
-
Great, thank you
So for example.
Boat and trailer is 2.2T... so am I looking at 550Kg per tyre, so does that mean 44PSI is ok?
-
That is what I am thinking 50psi - (mine rated to 60psi)

Hey mate, welcome aboard!
Quick tip, jump on youtube and type: Fishing Pittwater and see what comes up. I have learnt a lot from others.
Buy some books (AFN) and they give you indications on where to fish and what bait to use etc.
Lion Island is good with the right conditions.
Apps for weather/GPS: Willyweather, seabreeze, BOM, Navionics
Also going out with other members might help you learn a few things too.
