  1. You always get a good feed Well done
  2. I personally would be sticking to something like a Yamaha, Honda or Suzuki. I've had a few mates with tohatsu and mercury. and they've had so many problems with it. Spends more time in the workshop than on water. Is this your first boat?
  3. Well done on the PB, that is a stonker
  4. Bag of flathead fillets, yum Well done
  5. Cant go wrong with a feed of flathead and bream
  6. Solid dolphin fish there mate And those photos look really good
  7. Your most likely going to catch bread and butter, like whiting and bream. If you get a tailor, throw a fillet on some big hooks, you might get a jew. Let us know how you go
  8. Nice work Always fun to go for a sneaky fishing session
  9. That is a stonker Well done
  10. That soft plastics works wonders on bonnies. when nothing is better. If the wind allows it, try go lighter jighead on it. Keep preserving, I made a similar post a couple years ago where I was the only one not catching the bonito and everyone else was catching. Maybe try some other spots as well, try terrigal haven with 10g halco twisties and those plastics
  11. I got my first kayak last week. Almost identical to rick's one but 3m long. Its a entirely different experience fishing so low and close to the water. I reckon go with the 2.7m one if you want convenience and if your looking to just try it out. If your serious about kayak fishing, go with the 3.6m but you'll have to deal with the extra weight when loading and unloading. Try and go for a rudder if you can.
  12. Thanks for sharing and welcome to fishraider
  13. Nice work Love catching flatties on SP
  14. Sounds like a really good trip I wish I had a boat license at that age. Would've been so much fun
  15. Great write up mate Bonnies are always fun to catch
  16. Nice work mate, What size was the biggest trevally? What bait were you using?
  17. Nice report, cant go wrong with fresh flathead fillets
  18. Nice work guys those kingys would've tasted great
  19. Thanks mate, they all loved it Thanks mate, I hooked it on a small 3inch clear flickbait on a very lightly weighted jighead. I always keep either this or a small halco twisty rigged up on the boat in case there is a bust up, so I can be ready to cast out straight away Will keep an eye out for your boat. I was using a very worn leader, so I wasn' very hopeful from the start.
  20. Yeah it can get quite tight getting the boat into there haha always worth shot, might land it next time
  21. The Bonnies are still around, so you haven't missed out yet. I'l be sure to try your recipe next time. Bonito taste pretty good. The boat ramp is Tunks Park Boat Ramp
