Mate if I was making the trip down I would have a few plans just as a back up if the weather is not all "sunshine". Where were you thinking of fishing? There a heaps of places you can fish as a back up. If I travelled that far I'd be fishing as much as I could, hope the weather is gold so we can all get a few fish

No fish is worth our life. Why do people fish risk their lives or try these spots without experience. A sad costly reminder

Awsome catch good work on a feed of Bonnie's

Grant is spot on went out last week and the kiama fad was 90 degrees to the water. I would suggest just drifting a few hundred mtrs either side of the co ordinates and see how you go, but it's tough work with the current raging. Good luck next time

Geez mate that's tiny. Never come across a baby jacket. There's a first for everything!

Live bait or large baits. Usually you won't get a big one if catching soapies, not that there isn't one lurking around but because the little ones are quicker and less shy to take a bait. Big one's like hanging around deep holes and eddies where small ones can be caught just about anywhere. Regards Jeff

Hey mr fish dee why beach I have heard is good on the south end. I've never fish there but that's a beach on my list from pics I've seen and reports read. They are a hard fish to catch but put in the time and you will be rewarded.
