Thanks mate how do you know what watt s your running ! I know it's has a select transducer setting but closet one to airmar 260 is the m260 5k ! If I select the m260 10k the temp is wrong ! Need a good tutorial hahha

Yeg I've done all that an it doesn't read bottom ! Bloody pisses me off , even on deep water mode . Would be great if some one had same setup to help . Tried turning up ping speed aswell . Could it have to do with the location of tranducer maybe try lowering it or changing angle

Hey raiders I've been having trouble getting a clear reading of the bottom at browns . I've got a hds 10 gen 2 with a airmar tm260 1kw transducer . Does anyone else not read bottom at this depth . Also even when fishing wide the bottom reading is very thin so I have to zoom in Bout x 4 . Maybe it's not tuned right or the transducer is not as powerful as I though

Thanks for that damo did you get all fish on the troll . We couldn't even pick up a stripey an were using all small skirted lures an a deep diver

Great report mate I heard ya on the radio ! We fished browns for 0 ! Then trolled the temp break jus wide of shelf . Did you guys head wide of brows . Water seemed a bit green aswell !

Hey raiders finally got an electric reel an looking to hook into some gem s for the first time an some blue eye hopefully ! Will be on 21 blue label , also have a troll for a tuna if there around .

Hey raiders headed south to Bellambi on sat with my dad an mate! Arrived at ramp round 530 perfect conditions . Headed out to the wide reefs an spent a good half an hour sounding around for bait an fish . It's great when a plan come s together an the technology show s that . Anchored up on a good bait sounding . Within 4 hours we had landed 5 nice snapper best going 3 kg . I floated down a snelled piece of cuttle fish an bang I was on ! As the fish surfaced I was shocked to see this huge snapper 5kg plus , my adrenalin was pumping an I though the fish had swallowed the hooks so rather than asking my net I tried to pull fish on to the marlin board !! Worst mistake ever bang fish is gone .. It's a mistake I'll never be doing again !! Fished the rest of the day at a couple of other spots for couple more reds ! Bait used fresh cuttle fish an pike ! Fished from 50m to 30m best marking s an bait was out wider .. Can't wait to get back there an redeem myself .

Mate if u have a. 4wd your fine . Can be a bit of surge at times but there shouldn't be much swell Around . I have a 6.1 Barcrusher an the ramps seems fine

That's right, especially with the size of the gemmies out there at the moment. You might lost a few with 200lb leader. Cheers Mike Hey mate how did you end up going out there . Couldn't manage a gem definatly investing in a electric reel ! Or deck winch . No sharks either .

No worries mike if u see blue Barcrusher (blue label ) give us a yell ! Do u use 400lb leader u think 200lb is sufficient ! Ill be using a tld 50 as that's all I got at the moment

Mate I've got a 6.1 Barcrusher with 130 etec ! Safe as houses boat but as in any boat pick the rite conditions ! It's not really as far out as you think ! Always make sure u have enough fuel an more . Im trying tommorow but will be ordering an electric reel ASAP !!

Hahhaa mate I tried for the first time as I never been there an wasn't prepared to bottom bash ! Improvised with plenty sinkers that we had left an plastics as no bait got a smaller fisher an cut that up then for bait , dropped down an like u said got cut off an that's all the leads we had ! So taking plenty tommorow . I just bought 200 lb trace today . will fish for a mako Aswell .
