    Yeg that's what I was thinking mate ! Even if I get some sort bungee adjustment clip to have different nominal settings! So Sony only place ur out riggers out once about to troll ! Been a bar crusher I was thinking of driving out with the outriggers in upright position then lower once ready to troll .. Nick Barcrusher 610î‡

    Hey guys jus seeing the best way to setup out riggers when in the upright position I have a bungee cord to hold it in tight while driving , once I start to troll I have to lower outriggers to right angle but that bungee cord is way to long ! Is there an adjustment clip I can run or jus run 2 different anchor points ! Nick Barcrusher 610î‡

    I was looking at the furuno but I already had the hds 5 so kept that to use an chart plotter an installed the 10 which is all linked to the 5 as well ! Looks awsome jus gotta get out there ! Nick Barcrusher 610î‡

    Hey plumb I used to launch our old boat there which was a smaller alloy ally craft ! But havnt launched my Barcrusher there I always use hole in the wall sylvania ! But if u had a 4wd that would be fine as low tide it gets very sandy Nick Barcrusher 610î‡

    Thanks for the advice ! I think I'll go with what can be mounted an not look out of place on my boat ! The 1kw should show heaps more clarity an read bottom alot better than a standard transducer Nick Barcrusher 610î‡

    Hey I'm looking at upgrading my hds 5 sounder to either an hds 8 or hds 10 gen 2 with a tm260 1 kw sounder ! I have a Barcrusher 6.10 an thinkin the 10 might be to big for mounting so thinking to keep the hds 5 for chart plotters an run the new hds 8 for my sonar setup !
