  1. geeez good effort there viking has anyone ever had much success getting into a few of the bigger Dollies at the sydney harbour FAD in recent years, we fished it pretty H-core the last couple of years and the biggest dollie we managed to pull of it was about 70 cm .. Maybe its a bit close in for the bigger bulls ?
  2. mate they don't seem to be in big numbers there but its a nice easy fad to get to who knows in a few more days they could come on in numbers, another boat we know of went out to the marker buoy off bondi and got a few tiny ones and some rat kings fisho 5
  3. Mate we went out there on sunday and we caught 4 on pillies down deep near the Fad, biggest went at 55cm and the smallest was a micro dollie at about 25cm lol, other then that nothing else on the surface, gave it up and fished the reef for about 15 sweep and a flattie

Sorry 4 the late reply fellas, im not sure if there are signs up but i remember in the local paper there was a bloke holding up a fairly big carp which was caught there, I used to go to school around the corner from it and a few mates said they had caught quite a few carp in there aswell Fisho5

  12. Gday mate, with a 3000 reel, 15 pound braid i reckon(if braid is what your after) would be the way to go, I have 15lb braid on my Penn applause in the 3000 size and had a ball fishing sp's for reddies up in forster over christmas. Just a personal preferance mate but you could get away with 20lb aswell- just stay clear of 30 pound unless your using a size 6000 threadline lol fisho5
  13. Hey guys just wondering how to rig up rig up the 5 inch berkley gulp Squid? And if anyone has had any lucky with them cheerz in advanced fisho5

  15. Hi mate, Recently baught in a twinpower 4000 after my cousin talked me into getting one" Looks the Titz" ..can't wait to Christen it He uses his for chasing Reddies and average kings and he can't get enough of it lol go the twin power mate? haha Fisho5
  16. Hi mate, Own both reels i'd say the Spheros for the smoothness compared to the 950.. Penn spinfishers are regarded alot as a workhorse reel and my ole man has a old 850 which he's had 4 yonks and its still kicking! You'd get more line compacity with the 950.. We mananged to spool it up with 500m of 80lb braid and fish the shelf... wasn't pretty but did work lol> I do like the beefy handle on the 950 Fisho5
  17. Hey mate Freshwater Wide a ground we jig on about 12 km north east of the heads, we'll be out there doing the same on Sunday.. I'll get the Gps markings for it off the Gps in the morning 4 ya... Lot of smaller kings there just legal to 70cm but we've been smoked a few times just jigging Raider chrome lures and only letting it down about 3 quarters of the way too the bottom If your out on Sunday feel free to tag along mate I'll have more info in the morning Fisho5
  18. Hey guys, Up Camden Haven crossing the bar up there a few years back. Wave about 5 metres broke on the boat shattered the windscreen radio antena snapped..
