  1. We go the Sussex at least once a year for over 20 years (going their in three weeks when the boy has finished his HSC) and have never had problems with fuel from that servo, the one on the left on the way in. They also sell the best bait in Sussex.

  2. We are heading to Sussex Inlet for a week as soon as this rain shower passes. We are staying at Alonga Cottages and I will let you know how we go but we will probably mainly fish St Georges Basin. There are heaps of places in Sussex Inlet which hire boats.

  3. We used to camp in badgee caravan park which is on the corner of the inlet and Badgee Creek. It has good amenities and a really nice barbeque area. I'm not sure about fires though. It also has its own wharf and is only a 10 minute walk from the RSL and shops. Check out their website.

There are other caravan parks along that stretch of the inlet but I think that they look a bit cramped.

  4. We will also be down there in mod October (11-18) but we are staying in cottages. What type of camping are you looking for a caravan park or something a little more back to nature?

Are you looking for Sussex or surrounds, beach, river or basin?

  5. If you had water under the floor, shouldn't water come out both bung holes? I didn't think that boats had lengthwise bulkheads that would separate the under floor area into bow and starboard halves!
