  9. Hi RB, i would say majority were 8-10cm they were good bait size ones like i said looking from the bridge the water use to be crystal clear and and there was schools of them you could see them clearly. Just like with fish a number of factors will play a part in catching your bait. So mid to high tide would be your best shot in this particular spot. And if they r still there i found if u can see them no need for berley u r only working a small area and with the numbers back then i found even the smallest amount of berley would have more chasing the berley around than going in the trap they will find the trap soon enough and remember there is a limit on poddies for bait 20 and no bigger than 15cm. regards tricky.
  10. I use to get them mainly in the afternoon, although i discovered them one day when i stopped my truck there to have my lunch break there was a ton of em back then and if the tide is right they should be there anytime just have a good look and follow the creek around too where it runs back into the river but like i said i always got my share around the small bridge if they are there u shouldnt miss them the water was clear in the creek when i use to catch them i use to stand on the bridge and drop the trap into the water from it then watch the little buggers go in for a feed i always liked catching them there it was very easy. Regards Tricky.
  11. Give it a go mid to high tide as u walk into the reserve their is a small bridge. Always got my share there they were poddies nice bait size ones too. Used the clear plastic bait traps and some bread. Let me know how you go use to go there all the time going back 4 -5 years when i lived in the area hope it hasnt changed good luck. Regards Tricky.

    Towed Home

Hi, makes me think of when i was fishing just up from como bridge suddenly a tinnie past me going around in circles with two young boys no older than 10 in it no life jackets on, one of the poor buggers was rowing his heart out with just one oar the other they had lost in the water when they decided to take the old mans tinnie out for a row on their own got into the channel, current got em and they were off they past me screamin when i got to them they were as white as ghosts. Towed them back to where they started their little adventure they were 2 releived young lads once they stepped foot on dry land again. tricky.
