yea i fish the entrance all the time , land based and in the yak . when im land based i walk the sand flats casting plastics and hard bodys .. once a guy said to me down there " hhmmff you wont get flatties on a run in tide " i walked past him 1.5 hour later with 5 ,, just casting in the deep and retrive back into the shallow

mate not sure of your set up or what ever you use , i always get fish at the entrance , run in and run out , day and night . but hey each to there own ay !

hi , heading up to kings very soon and i have read alot of later posts about the fishing up there but nothing much of late . ive been told to check out potts point ? ill be fishing with plastics and live nippers if i can remember where to pump them . think it was near a van park with boat ramp south of kings cliff. is there any black fish on up there at the moment ? is there anyone that can give me a few tips please on to where to check out and what to use ? cheers bretto

hows this , i was fishing for blackfish at the entracns on monday off the wall and seen 2x plastic bags in the water as i was on the wall and was a deep drop off i had to lie on my tummy and hang the tip of my rod in the water to try and reach them , once finaly done i turn around to see people laughing at me

the channel has seen big numbers of bream and the whiting are also still around . north entrance beach near the mouth has been also good bretto

hey thanks for the quick replys ! always keep cheking lol. i put a straight 6lb on that the olds also gave me . its a platypus brand extra mono bla bla bla but hey it is light ! when tieing on the lures they kept on slipping ( as im used to the heavey 13 lb for flatiies ) i had to up my game a bit lol funny scratch about the misses hahahaha sound like me !

got a great new rod and reel for my birthday the other day and im no expert by far but i think its pretty cool also got some new lures , being those 3d shrimp , a popper and the other hard body that im not to sure on , ( Shimano sahara graphite 7' one peice 2-4 kg ) so eager to test out the popper as ive never used one before , i went down to the entrance on monday to have a go . well after about 50 casts had one chase , but was still good fun cant belive the distance i was getting though tryd that 3d shrimp also no good and lucky i had old friend MR gulp sand worm in camo ( like the yak ) in back pocket . had a nice bream from that and a flathead about the size of my index finger hahaha all good fun cheers
