im a surfer and fisherman ! i love willy weather for fishing as it gives detail on wind and tides etc. i have bom rain radr , that is so very handy when you see sh*t is getting dark and you no there is rain coming but when and how far ? and yes also coastal watch and swellnet .... regards bretto

wife and i decided on getting a new yak as having two kids and being keen fisherman ( land based ) is to my advantaged , so i was all for the idear ! have seen and read alod of posts and talked the wife into getting a single seater for me when i wanna go for a serious fish and not have to drag the big tank around . but for now i have to stick with the big camo lol i do have alot of questions though and im sure i will find out as i go . like , how do you keep all your gear with out making majour mods ? like tackle ? i always carry light as being land based i dont want to have to carry a lot of crap . i have small tackle contaners that i can have diff size hooks , sinkers etc , and as for plastics thats easy ., i just put in the dry conpartment .. any advise will be good .. cheers bretto

so they could be a year round fish if you try hard enough ? thanks for the replys as im a novice at these guys ! im from the central coast and still learning where the hot spots are for these guys . i no the entrance holds good numbers in the winter but noone is catching there anymore . are they off the rocks still ?

ive been getting a load of them and nothing under 27 cm for the past 8 weeks and i have had enough of catching them haha. been fishing with my old man as he has been off work and he loves the whiting , he uses worms i use live nippers . ill catch 4 whiting to his undersize 1 . he loves the worms and will keep on trying with them but will not try my bait . oh well haha.. hope the attachment works , but here is my boy with a nice fish of many that we caught about 4 weeks ago , and was very cold that day ..

i cant find any live nippers at the moment , is there anyone on the coast that could tell me some spots please ? or pm me cheers bretto
