what a great report . good talk ! i have not caught anything on a gulp yet only a sand flattie of yamba about 12 months ago . i have a bag full of gulps and still learning and still trying ! . you said you are going for blackies . ant they ment to be getting on the quiet now ? im a novice on the blckfish as this year was my first fishing for them and i loved it !

chopped weed mixed with sand works for me . i fished with small live prawns for bream around the rocks yesterday with small ball sinker and took home 3 large black fish

bait ive been using grrrrrrrrr and ive been catching whiting the last 3 monthes with them haha pm me

nice work there and great combo . when i get salmon i to bleed them head down , bury them and put a bucket or shoes etc on top btw ive been smashing the whiting lately off the beach tonight we have 10x fish to fillet for tea yum yum

can anyone help with i dears ? i have a proper plastick poddy trap , a home made trap ( made out of 3lt milk cart ) and a poddy net trap . i have caught them before in the plastick one but now i am not getting any . there is alot around aswell big and small . any tips please ? i no the bigger ones stay clear of the trap , am i better to get them on a hand line and small hook ? but i just dont no why the small ones ant even going in .

hey steve , thanks mate . dont no the diff between soft and wire weed yet but i did dry it ( 90% anway ) and put in a seal bag in fridge . where do you get yours from ? PM

heres a pick of the bait i dragged out of my local with a golf club as it was a bit hard to reach haha ( green weed ) ive had on a milk crate over night . what do you think ? when its dry a bit , ill rip off a couple of my kids sandwich bags and store in that in the fridge ? lol cheers
