  12. Hey guys talked to my mate this morning who came back from fishing in port hacking land based (cant say where he'll kill me) and he caught 3 sharks during the night. all of them around the 4-5 foot mark and were taken on baits intended for kings. recently a few weeks back he and i went there and he caught another four footer. has anyone else notice the increase of sharks lately or have they always been there. would they be scaring off the kings at all cheers patrick

  15. g'day guys went down to narrabeen lake this morning. got there before the sun came up and things were looking good started to berley up and first cast bang a nice flathead (my dinner tonight) second cast a nice little bream which went back in, then the ducks came along and there went my berley anyhow i caught a huge stingray which i broke off when it came close so becareful if your walking in the lake. after an hour or so the crowds started to show up and its like the fish backed off too. went up a little further up towards the caravan park to chase some whiting but with no luck. only one fish for dinner but thats all i need, was great fun to fish the lake again. cheers patrick
  16. hey mate i recently came back from vanuatu in october. we stayed in port villa tho and didnt have the best weather so i really didnt do a lot of land base fishing. if u can get out on a charter i would recommend nautillis fishing charters they are on the net. they have top of the line gear, great boats and resonable priced. on the day we went out we caught a yellow fin tuna trolling then went over the reefs and caught some hard fighting coral trout great morning out. i hope some of this info was of help. have a great time mate its a beautiful place
