I've never tried Squidding , I got the Squid Jig and the Glow Sent ( is it any help?) any hints how to go about it ! do you need Burley ?when is it best time during the night tide etc.. any Help is Appreciated. also Chinamans Beach , any where in Sydney Harbour any suggestions . Cheers Oziodin

I recomend u go and get it valued with all your accessories at a dealer( and take photos of everything on your boat) valuation is Arround $50 mark. Then got from there gt quotes , provide photos and all . A bit of work but worth it. Cheers. Oziodin

Mate Iv read alot of these lures . I want to give them a go . So today I jumped in the car drove all the way into Drumoyne and got one only tree left got 1 only was contemplating gtn them all want to have a crack at first after new Year. Hope to be writing Report in the very soon Future . The More I utube about these scented Blazer's the more exited I get . This report you wrote is very inspirational so after. Got on the water 5am went to Balmoral and got 14 Yakka's & Pike. Decided to 12 mile reef water very sloppy all day Tried bottom for a while got Flatty's , Morwong ,& Leather Jacket's a good feed. Every thing that went down got smashed by Jacket's had double hook up of the Critter's. used Live Bait, Prawn, Squid , Pilli's . Even for fun! Put some cooked snags on as Bait, Left over lunch lol lol . started to get very rough after 1pm . Decided to put 2 Christmas tree & a deep dive Lune in the Middle and head in slowly . went it the Peak up to Manly But No strikes ( water was extremely Sloppy & Rough ) around 5pm decided to call it a day. As we went saw a Catamaran capsize ( a Father with 2 Kids 9-11 year Old's lucky all Had their Life Jacket's on ) the 4 knot zone in the middle between the marina & little Beach opposite, all sitting on the catamaran by the time we got to them kids clearly upset Decided to get the Kids on to a smaller vessel arrived a few min later and take them into their Mother on the beach. and we stayed with the capsized Cat threw him some rope to tie on the one side so he could Right it again ( don't think he had much experience) after some goes and drifting Got the Catamaran upright again . so the Day was a success ,Fishing was a little ordinary but in all I just nice to be out on the Water. Also if you allready got a transducer for shallow water and want a 1 kw for deep apparently the 1kw isen't as good as the other in shallow water & you can get a switch box and you can use witch transducer u need to .

Even when you fish in enclosed waters, it's worth to have a GPS, keep in mind when you are on the water , you can't see how Far you drift in 10-20min example. and when you find a spot you just hit man-overboard .and you can go to the spot again .I used to have a lowrance combo I was very happy with it. I would say that was a few years ago. If I was you have a talk to Huey on the phone tell him what you want to use . and he will definitely show the best for your Budget Her knows his Stuff.. PS: The Biggest fallacy is when you get these Beaut GPS/Fish finder Units we don't learn the units capabilities and what it can do. yes we do get the instruction but if there any Classes hands on how to use and find your way around with these Units. .please let me know PM me! I got a VHF & 27 MHz in my Boat Going to Browns seams to get poor Reception and at Times a lot closer in Shore. wonder if/what, I can Do to Boost reception or how. Thank you FR's Cheers.

Try the Break wall at Stockton. Stockton is a choice Place if you don't Catch anything there is always The Boat rovers Pub for a good feed & a Beer. Cheers

mate I've googled , I sent you some stuff on you mobile , mate I really couldn't say it seams to be a cross between a grinner & sergeant baker. in my view. maybe send the photo to the fisheries and enquire I guess it the last resort , but worth a try as you know it pains when not knowing . tight line mate . went Wednesday last week out the heads to 12MIle didn't do any good there out to Browns did a bit of Bottom Bashing not good neither saw 1 boat out there drifted 5k in an Hour went back to Browns cked on the other boat see if they were doing any good they hadn't got anything,3pm getting a bit choppy decided to Troll Back with a deep diving lure and a Skirt went all the way into 12-16 kms of Sydney . had an awesome run but got busted off near the Boat. by the time we were back inside 6pm it was like a washing machine decided to call it a day .still had a awesome day but nothing to bring home. there will always Next time hope it will be this coming Saturday thinking doing a full day Trolling Only .anyone going out ?
