  1. I was there at 6.am on saterday over past the sailing club shed tried out to the point and back with no luck then packed up and headed out to TCD for the rest of the day. what car where you driving cheers

I also went up thisSat there at sun up and it was freezing fished from the far end of the dam wall around to the cliff and got nothing ended up on he dam wall and got one big take on a sp but no hook up the wind got the better of us so it was off home at around 2 pm might wait a while for a return trip any tips would be good
  4. When you learn to use that new fly rod and buy some flies I have no idea on where are the good places to fish in Wallace but will happily give it a go. any advise would be great

  6. I would love to know where, I thought all rivers were of limits till Oct long weekend. I am only new to the trouting world but love it. Love camping as well. Any info would be much appreciated. Cheers

Went to TCD on sat morn, man was it cold! the brother got smashed by a monster but never hooked up (he was using a rapalla rainbow pattern) I was on the new Gloomis with a brown woolly b which got a few hits and took some slack up but failed to hook up. that was it for the day, tried LW and LL but this was only a half effort need the rivers to open earlier cheers

  9. Thanks for the info guys I am an ex mechanic, is the gear box removal an easy job, looks like you disconnect the linkage and undo the bottom leg bolts and drop it down. is that about the it? I gather that if the problem is in the gear box it would have to go to a outboard mechanic what about the gear box oil level could this have an effect any help is appreciated

Hi fellow fishraiders I have a 2003 yammy 40hp 2 stroke the throttle lever is very hard to move from Neutral - Forward and from Forward to Reverse and viser versa I have removed and greased to throttle lever assembly and cables and they seem to be fine but as soon as they are reconnected to the motor they get hard to move again once in gear the throttle works fine any ideas on what might be wrong cheers

  13. Thanks again Grant will be heading down in a fortnight's time. I am a bit of a hack but seem to have one (or two) of just about everything to try to catch a fish on. Haven't caught a trout on fly yet but got a few on SP and various lures I'll keep my fingers crossed cheers

  15. Can anyone advise on what the fishing is like at the Wollondilly River Station. The place looks nice to camp at but fishing is the main reason to go there. Has anyone been there and had any luck? Cheers
  16. where abouts in the park do you find the fish the ranger said that you can only fish between the weir and the boat shed is this the case or are there other areas to try cheers
  17. heading up to the Tarana/Oconnell area for Easter weekend has anyone caught anything in any of the rivers around there sinse the rain has been falling. the locals say the rivers are flowing OK now. cheers
  18. Has anyone caught any Bass in the LCR park I was talking to the ranger down there the other day and he said that there are some good ones in the river along with carp. any info would be great.

Hi, I have been trying to get bream on an eco gear popper with a tail and had no luck at all have tried some little sure catch poppers as well no good either (must be me) what do you mean (working the little popper a little more like a trevally lure) any tips will be appreciated i normally work the sand flats and have good sessions on SP and SX 40/48's cheers
  20. I walk out on the flats all the time under the bridge. We catch planty of flatties,bream whitting and the accasional tailor or flounder. My brother scored a nice trevally down there a while ago Camo worms are the go but watch out for the toadies.

  22. Does anyone out there know where there is a good supply of Camo worms The only place I have found them always seem to have verry small stock. I am at ryde NSW Cheers
  23. If you use a quality small reel with the 4-6 lb braid and some 4 lb leader and a 6-7 foot graphite rod you will be able to flick softies and small lures for 20 + meters easily
  24. going camping at Yuraygir National Park in a few weeks near Diggers camp has anyone got any suggestions on where and what to fish for in this area camping for about 6 days cheers
  25. Is there any basic camping around that area? which way out of Oberon is the Little River cheers
