  1. Hi Linc I am at Dundas and i drive over to Gladesville ramp takes me about 25mins and parking can be bad if your late, Good ramp and pontoon. Is there another ramp at Kissing Point Rd (Around Putney?) that might be better shorter than the drive to gladesville and not much further down the river?
  2. I hate the rubbish scabs, I have had stuff knocked off in my driveway and its alway when the council has hard rubbish collection. Good idea to check trailer when you come back from fishing / cruising
  3. What about removing your front seat and making that a casting deck, with under floor storage. The front has more strength than the middle would in my guestimation.
  4. Looking forward to see the reports from using these. Might give making one a crack myself tomorrow, they look fantastic.
  5. Do you know what the old rego number were? That helped me get my Hin numbers and register my old boat.

Hi all here is my Tinnie which I bought in Aug 2014. It has a 1982 Johnson 25hp and is well set up for fishing, has LED lights under the seats, flat floor, storage boxes, padded seats, full lights and bilge pump, brand new Lowrance sounder and is 4.3mtrs. Bought it of a real nice bloke who bought it of the original old owner For Xmas Santa has bought me a Bimini and a bait board. Just rebuilt the trailer ready for summer
  7. Not sure on street name but it is sign posted, if you are looking at the sea you head right to the open water and the rock break wall will be on your left. You will see the other boat stay in the channel for a while then cut left to the open water. We were fishing out of a boat.
  8. Yep we think they brought there boat in and decided to swap trailers. Not sure if he had any locks just the D shackle.
  9. I caught my PB flathead in the Basin last week on mullet strip and we also pulled a 2.5kg snapper out of there as well.
  10. I have a mate who launched his 5.3mtr bowriders there without issue as long as the river cat doesn't come past. Beware he also had his newish trailer stolen and replaced with really rusted arse one after going out over night for a fish on a friday night. But that can happen at most ramps overnight.
  11. Beware there is a rock break wall just out from the boat ramp which is underwater at high tide.
  12. We fished it last week and bagged a 4kg snapper about 800m from the boat ramp, also got a bunch of Calamari just round the bend of the headland.
  13. Didn't have anything to measure it big enough, it was over 76cm we estimate about 83cm. Caught using Mullet strip and it will be eaten this weekend. Normally I would release but thought I would keep this one as it was a PB, I did release atleast another 6 that were around the 40cm to 50cm Size which looked very small after catching this one. Also caught some great sized bream as well.
  14. Caught my PB flathead down Jarvis Bay using my new Shimano Rod and reel
  15. Hi everyone My names is Jeff 38yrs 3 kids and work for a construction company. decided hotted up cars were costing to much, so I sold the old car and bought a 4.5mtr tinnie with a old 25hp Johnson. It is really well set up for fishing and handles the harbour and Hawksbury well. I go away fishing with a group of mates in Nov each year either in the Hawksbury river or down Jarvis bay. They are all experience and I am the newbie, so I'm here to read and learn my new hobby.
  16. I only joined a month ago, but have been hooked since day 1, many hours spent passing time reading up on some of the posts. I haven't seen any sticky how to tutorials, maybe worth getting some done by experienced members,
