thanks swordfisherman also im very interested in catching a hairtail i know they are most active at night an i know they loved fresh fish flesh, pillies and squid and i have been told that they feed from the top of the water so casting out whole baits without sinkers is a goodway of getting them But what time of the year are they most active in the esturies such as bobbinhead, and cottage point ??? i have found some good spot for squid and also mullet so fresh bait shouldnt be too much of a problem i think lol and thanks again for the reply guys its realy helping me out

Sorry guys im into almost anything il fish from Rocks, Beach, jettings almost anywhere i have a brand new beach outfit im keen to catch a fish on i would love to land a nice salmon or big tailor even a nice flatty almost anything i can brag about lol i feel that my tackle box couldnt get much better i have spent alot of money lol so im pretty well set up just yet to catch the monsters and yes Swordfisherman im keen for a feed Thanks for the replys and sorry for not being specific with my post

Hi guys just wanted to hear about some of the good fishing spots around sydney that i can get to on foot and forget anything to do with the harbour not a fan. i like eating my catch and knowing its not going to kill me lol So let me hear it, anything north and south of city ?? i fish alot at bobbin head and its a great little spot for bream, flatties and leather jackets but like one of my other post i want to catch a jewie or something worth bragging about so help a Brother out let me know the secret spots i promise i wont tell lol Thanks Guys Tom

Hey thanks guys i have been told for someone that they have caught jewies off the beach of a night time but maybe not lol i have also been told about some realy nice flaties there so will be packing some stuff for them too

Hey Guys just wondering if anyone has fished down at Lake Tabourie and if its anygood down there in the lake and off the beach i might be staying down there during easter. if you have any stories i would love to hear them And also what sort of fish would be round that area beach an in the lake ?? hey thanks guys for your replys i havnt realy done much beach fishing or night fishing for them however i will be starting that up soon i have tried using baits such as fresh squid, freash mullet fillets , live pottys, and also yellow tail i have had huge hits but never been on too one much longer then about 2minutes i know if i keep on it il soon get one i am going to start fishing realy early in the morning on the rising and falling of the tides and see how i go Thanks again for the replys

Hey Guys Im new to this site and have only been reading other peoples topics for like a month and lol thought it was time to post one of my own i have been fishing since i was a little kid but now i am getting pretty serious with it all, spending alot of money and having alot of fun but im yet to catch a jewie i think my biggest problem is that i dont have a boat but i know there is alot of spots around that a boat isnt too important. So let me hear it guys. Where do i go to catch one of these things on foot. I fish alot of the hawksbury, woywoy, patonga, many more places that i can get access to deep holes by foot but still no luck What am i doing wrong ?? and where the hell do they hang out lol ??
