Mate i caught heaps of the second fish up at forster couple months back always wondered what they were so im keen to see a reply ay

Mate from what i have been told again dont know how true it is but in the cooler months the flatties normal hang more around the weed beds because the water is warmer and last winter just about all of the flatties i caught were in this little hole at Bobbinhead that you can only access at low tide unless you have a boat and its probably about 1meter deep and full of weed try to find something like this there has to be one in Narralakes somewhere its a pretty big lake lol Tightlines budd Tom

Hey guys I know this sounds abit weird to some of you but i was talking to this old guy couple of weeks ago and he had two Rays in his esky i asked him why? thinking he would be using for crabpots or something like and he replys. ''Nah are you joking i eat them nothing better then a Ray thrown straight onto a weber plate''. and i was like ''yeah right dude Yukk Crazy man''. then when i got home and spoke to my oldman bout it he was like yeah heaps of people do and again i was like ''Crazy man''. So guys what im trying to find out are any of you Crazy?? lol jks just wanted to see how many people eat them and if they are any good??

Hey guys The last couple of weeks i have heard some real good reports about this area and yesterday being a very good one a 90cm jewie was caught here. should i believe this report? also some real nice flatties and bream caught i always thought the colo was way to fresh for these fish Have any of you guys caught a jewie or bream there ?? thanks guys Tom,

Guys silly me silly me I didnt end up going for my beach i instead went out lastnight and lets just say drank way to much beers and yes spirits OH BOY!! was i sick this morning dont bother asking me why i went pissing up instead of fishing just thought it would be a nice quiet night out with the boys. Hey guys Tomhunt aka Thomas Im fairly new to this site but can say it has been great i have spoken to some very nice and helpful people on this site. I have just turned 20 i enjoy long romantic walks on the beach and thai food lol haha jks I have been into fishing my whole life its great the only thing that clears my mind i try to get out atleast once a week I fish landbased for the big reason i dont have a boat yet so im keen on meeting someone who does. I work for a company called National Hire The CAT Rental store as The NSW Sales Cadet and have been in this position for 6months my hobbies are Fishing ofcorse,cars and trailbikes. I have a beutiful girlfriend named Rachel and have been with her for just over 2 abit years and YES she loves fishing so she is probably a keeper. I live in Quakers Hill and yes still with my parents just easier this way lol and they are both fairly cool so why not ay. Iceman whatdo you go after in ChippingNorton lake is there saltwater in there to because i noticed it is hooked up to the Georges. Bream and flatties in there mate or just carp, bass and other freshies?

Riceball i am in the same boat man i have been trying but havnt had much luck and havnt even caught one yet not even under sized. mate all i can say is keep trying and i have also heard from some people your best chance to get one is off a beach, but i also know there is a shitload of water and there has to be a shitload of fish in there just to much water between them man just keep trying and to keep you going while you wait for the big ones set up and take a small rod and go for some little fish thats always fun have a good one and good luck

Hey mate i havnt fished in the valley but i have done a fair bit of fresh water fishing when i was younger with my old man and uncle we use to just use bread, corn and worms, we caught all sorts of fish such as carp,pearch,bass and freshwater mullet all these types of fish put up a great fight on light tackle we use to normaly fish with floats but the carp will quite happliy crab sunken bait also 1 thing to try mate is to catch a couple of Gubbies (little fish) and put like 2 or 3 on a hook at once and float it near the snaggs and fallen trees in the water and wait for a nice big bass to hitt it. mate let me tell you, You'l know when they go for it F*#KING BANG!!!! lol excuss the french Good luck with it mate hope i was help to ya

hey mate i have fished this spot acouple of times and can tell you there is some realy good bream, leather jackets and sometimes some nice tailor swimming around there I have also heard that you can pick up some real nice flatties, and people have also told me the jewies go through of a nighttime I fished there mostly with prawns and small squid but i once tried casting acouple small yakkas out there and got smashed about 3times in one day by something MASSIVE!! (my gear was to small) so might be a good idea to take some heavy gear and give it ago also. let me know how you go hope i was alittle bit of help Have a good one Tom

i fish at bobbin head jetty and appletree bay i have caught some very nice bream from both these spots and most of the time using hole hawks prawn with little or no sinker at all and i send them straight under the jetty thats where the big buggers are i have also caught nice bream on bread,squid, whitebait, chicken and mullet gut and fresh fish flesh such as yellowtail. if u can get access to a bait trap and catch some realy small bait fish i hook like 2 or 3 on a hook at a time through the eye and because they move around heaps as you would with a hook in your eye they seem to work a treat also i have caught them on life nippers and if you can life prawns, with them i dont reacon you could do much better then that spots like Bobbin head and appletree bay and also patonga jettys are realy worth a try ohwel good luck mate let me know how you go when you go
