  1. I know they are tasty...my wife was not very happy when I told her I caught two squid and did not bring them home.

  3. After finishing my grave yard shift I decided to get a quick session before going to sleep. I got to my regular spot in the Northern Beaches at around 540am. Before the sun came up I managed to get 2 squids. By 620 I moved to a nice wash that I have intended to fish for sometime. By 630 my first squid hit the water; about 15 minutes later I got a hit not the monster I was hoping for but a nice 67cm King fish had decided to have a taste of my squid. After a nice fight I safely landed the Kingie. 5 minutes later after and couple of photos I threw my second squid in the water. I did not have to wait to long before the Bangggg, I was on again. This time the fish took more line. I felt a lot bigger than the Kingie I had just caught. I gained a bit of line and it was off again. This time, the run was shorter. I starting getting my line back hoping to see the Kingie I have been chasing for some time now. But then the Intensity and resistance of the fish was much lower. I finally so the silhouette of the fish and realised that it was not the long awaited King I was hoping for. After a short a time I landed what turned out to be a nice liltle 4.5kg tuna. With not much energy left, I decided it was time for my to go home, get some sleep and dream of the massive kings I will one they catch.
  4. Hi there, I am looking for a fishing partner, Someone I can learn from. I live in the Parramatta area. I usually fish around the Northern Beaches. I normally target king fish using live bait, lures and dead garfish with some success. I also target Drummer, Groper and Snapper. I have my own gear and my schedule is somewhat flexible. I like to fish in the early morning. I would like to learn some new tricks and share the little bit that I know. Tight lines, Mauricio
