[Patonga Fishing]

G'day raiders

Left early this morning to sneak a sly little land based fishing at a fave spot of mine at Patonga, BUT, when the missus and I turned up, council had closed my possy off. BUGGA.

So, winged, not defeated, we attempted a little beach fishing, hhhmmmm water very cold and all I caught was a snag I guess you could say, fish one, hobbitt a big fat nothing.

Still, as my boss gave me the option of a rec. day, as he had nothing for me to do, or turn up for work and "work as directed"

I chose, as ya would, to go "fishing"

Anyway, the company was good, and so was the bacon & egg rolls that we had for breakfast.

[Tying On Hooks, Lures, Swivels, Flys Etc.]

Went to Morrisett markets on the week end, and bought a nifty little product to assist in tying hooks etc onto your line. I have 2 left hands, ''very unco''!!!

So, what is called I hear you ask??

The name of this little jem..........

HOOK-EZE.

I love it, cost me 3 for twenty dollars ($8.00 ea)

yeah bud, not sure how much $$ or how many ya get, if I get the chance to trial them B4 you, I will let you know, and who knows, I might even get to flick em up your way, as the father in law has a van up there, and we go up there when we can, not often enough though !!

Anyways, I have a small tinnie, can be seen on lake Mq. feeding the fish with my soul mate, the missus aka chook, and sometimes the tin lids. My name is Rod and look forward to hooking up (pardon the pun) with you good people. Make that, had a small tinnie, now have a slightly bigger tinnie and I am still feeding the fish from it.
