  5. shimano stradic 2500 FK or sustain FG and a Pflueger 6.6' or 7' 2-4kg . i have 5 Pflueger's and can't fault them for the money this should come too around $450 it leaves a bit for some plastics and lures cheers TAC

  11. i use the 8/0 and 6/0 for sharks on the vic beaches and have never had a 34007 fail yet and have been using them for 22 years
  12. for me there a bit thin in the gauge something a bit thicker like some of the circles or hoodlums but i suppose the 1st question i should have asked is this for bait or lures
  13. i have a 40HP honda on the back of my bluefin 4.2 and with me and my son it go's from a stand still to banging on the rev limiter in under 5 seconds and thats at 54.5 kph it has a 13"p prop so i need a stainless or ally 14"p . i am as happy as with the grunt of this thing .
  14. well as far as the order i store my lures it has all to do with spices i don't care if it's deep diver or a skirt all the lures that i know work are all in the one place i will work out the depth as it all unfolds in the session
  15. me too but i put the squid on the line 1st then the sinker and then push it in the head it's easier that way for me i also use barrel sinkers for the bigger skirts

  21. penn live linner 560l these things are built like a tank but are a bit heavy if you have a light rod at 586g but it will last a life time if looked after good drag too . their a lot of reel for $100 cheers TAC
  22. thats it not a bite the river has been like this foe a month there has to be hundreds if not thousands of tones of them from one end to the other , i have tried every thing but bait and not a touch . so for here it can only be 3 fish bream mullet or perch i did think bait fish but the sounder shows arch's and bait don't do that (unless ya after big bait) these pics are from 3 weeks ago different spot but there was even more there today

  24. gday raiders mow the last sounder i had was a lowrance X4 yep from the late 80s erly 90s so now i have a lowrance elite 5 chirp and yes its much better . now is this fish or something else the reason i ask is in the last pic the arch's are so long and skinny cheers TAC
