  1. Alvey brass Nipper pumps, still fully functional- not exactly sure of the age of these
  2. Famous "Seascape" came in 3 sizes and either 4, 5, or 6:1 retrieve speed. These reels were probably the reason "High-speed" spinning off the rocks became genuinely realistic. Also popular reel for jigging Kingfish
  3. 4 different "Graeme's"
  4. A "Surfmaster Avoca" on left, then a "Magnaflight", then "Offshore" then a rarer "Surfmaster"
  5. 3 x "Surfmaster's" the centre one is pretty hard model to find
  6. K-tel "Fishin' Magician" not exactly "Raider" tackle but part of our fishing history nevertheless!
  7. Just for a laugh! Who'd have thought this would be a 'collectable'- no have never played it but Rex worthy of being in the collection for his contribution to Aussie fishing
  8. Some older and more unusual sinkers- the bottom 'plane' shaped one is a trolling sinker
  9. Variety of old threadlines- the gold one right side back is a Daiwa GS 1 one of the first "external spool" reels on the Aust market- only a couple of years prior to it's release, spinning/threadline reels had the spool inside the housing, which left the possibility of line going down between the gap and tangling around the spool. I think the preceding Daiwa "Silver Series" was about the first external spool- got a couple of unused ones in boxes here somewhere
  10. Not really "collectable" however, not to be left out as "THE" connection from us to fish- variety of older mono spools
  11. Creels were the fisho's "go-to" carry bag in days gone by
  12. Old heavy rubber beach waders- they weigh a ton!
  13. Original "Flopy" French made lure with adjustable diving bib. Popular lure for both fresh and saltwater, caught large variety of species and was distributed by Mitchel (reels) from memory. You could adjust the bib for shallower/deeper
  14. These are all "Devon" style minnows, effective for Trout, Perch etc, they simply spin on retrieve
  15. Arbogast "Mud Bug and other lure is a cup-faced "Powerpack" with water pressure from retrieve on front, tail would spin
  16. "Perch" spoons various makes
  17. "Standard" Wonder Wobbler- I'd like a dollar for every fish caught on one of these!
  18. Real old lures the names are too hard to distinguish. The "Wicheti" looks pretty realistic
  19. Old spoons- the red eyed one is made by "Wonder"
  20. ABU "Toby's" these were/are a gun spinning lure, particularly effective for Tailor and Salmon amongst other species
  21. "Canada" spoons- (red/white/red like their flag- hence the name) on right, other spoons various makers
  22. "Pegron Tiger minnows top right, coloured Wonder Wobblers below, unsure of top left
  23. Have a look at the size of the Drummer
  24. Dug some more stuff out- old mags
  25. For Spooky- I have caught the same Luderick as the other guy fishing with me on 2 occasions, both times in the same spot. First one, my float was probably about 12 inches under when Frank T's started going down- we were only drifting about 2 feet from each other and the fish swallowed both baits. Second time -same story different fisho- Wayne Taylor (who used to work with "Joe The Gadget Man" for older readers) and I were fishing the same "L" shaped crack at White Rock (Bradley's Head) only about a month later and same thing happened. Have seen the same scenario with Luderick before, (not with me as angler though) with other fisho's, but not twice in same spot, fishing 'still' water
