  1. Glad you are enjoying these- will post plenty more different things over next few days- other than just reels
  2. Last pic for tonight - for those who haven't seen Tuna-poling hooks, this is what they look like- no bait used, just tied straight to pole line. Sometimes if Tuna extra large, 2 lines and poles to 1 hook
  3. Old "Capstan Whirlaway 77"- these were highly desired when first on the market. Capstan made quite a few reels, but were later better known for plastic hand-lines!
  4. Highly collectable and rare "DUX" reel
  5. The house I'm sharing is with another collector/fisho- he has mainly much older stuff than mine- there are about 200 reels on the walls, plus heaps more stuff- we have been calling it a "museum" for years! Won't bore everyone with too many reel pictures (will take a couple of "wall shots" tomorrow instead)- just a couple more 'significant' reels to follow this tonight
  6. 4 old "Fuji" centre-pin's with "easy-take-off spool"
  7. Hardy Bro's "The Perfect" reel
  8. Hank Newman gimbal bucket- there were many similar versions from different manufacturers, there are about 7 different versions here on the wall!
  9. Green Alvey bakelite tackle box, not as common as the dark brown version
  10. Old "Ondex" Trout/Perch lures- these have been copied multiple times over the years, some with minor variations
  11. Boxed "Helin Flatfish"- very popular freshwater lures, caught (and still catch!) most freshwater species
  12. Carded "Cortland Bass popping bugs- cork bodies circa 1960
  13. Wooden Alvey Snapper winch- these were pretty common
  14. Back-side of "Ireland's"
  15. Interesting backplate on Allan- sorry I am not good with computer and had trouble 'down-sizing' photo's, hence done individually- my apologies
