  1. my best mate and I worked hard to find our spots so im not divulging as these cod get lots of pressure as it is without telling hundreds of eager fishos specifics...I have destroyed a number of setlines discarded by mindless morons..i have found turtles birds and even a goat caught in heavy mono left behind on both rivers I fish ..the bottles and cans would be worth a fortune in returns if you could carry them lol...the larger river systems that can handle boat traffic are very different from skinny water we fish..best advice to those who want to tangle with cod is do homework on maps and read lots of forum material available on the areas known...rick
  2. hi neil ive been reading your reports for quite a while now..we mostly walk and fish rocky gorge country..clear running water and easy to see these beaut fish chase and eat our lures..nothing better..all fish released unless damaged..three trips for sixty five cod and six goldens..one damaged fish was kept it had a torn gill rake and would not have survived..we have been told to hit the larger still pools on our two rivers we fish as the larger specimens are rumoured to be lurking..we are going next weekend so I will report on return..cheers rick
