Oh good thought I was the only one... Not long back I was up Swansea me and my 2 boys were fishing on the wharf at night was in Raffertys Resort there we were exploring and looking for stuff with the torch we seen heaps of stuff then we came across what I think was a life couple partnership of cuttlefish dunno that's what I think anyway there were lying right next to each other touching they like even were looking at us like they had Lil personalities.... And my 5 year old got a bit excited yelling cuttlefish cuttlefish lol then like 2 minutes later a local in his yak came over and got One of em with his net not much I could do it's a free world but... Bloody pissed me off hey I think the expression on my face said it all but yeah each to their own only got to me I think coz they were a pair and yeah..... Lol

No worries will do I've been using an albright knot but I did lose a big spinnerbait the other week snapped at the knot... Not sure if it was the knot or the line got weak or something I did tie it about 2 years ago maybe it was that

Yeah they are good I had one before a transom mount never had any issues... Yeah I spoke to a rep from Jarvis walker and he said he's seen it a couple of times they just need to be worn in but my one needed that Lil extra... Like you know how when metal rubs sometimes it sorts sticks thats what it was doing nothing major but really wrecked my day lol smooth as silk now can't wait to use it.... Cheers

Yeah mate Im currently using a 4-8 kilo ugly stick with a 4000 sienna reel and by memory 12 pound braid it's really good for smaller lures but with that deep diving invader lure I found the rod was a Lil light and had quite a bend on it and was thinking what if I did get a fish would I get it in ... This outfit I want solely for that big one.. I was looking at the shimano caenon bait caster with like a 10 kilo rod running 25 to 30 pound braid all up comes to 230 with the line.. Definitely don't want to spend any more than that maybe a couple of them rat lures look pretty sweet to

Hi guys just wandering if anyone could tell me or point me in the right direction... I'm after a good combo rod and reel for Murray cod I wanted to get a bait caster reel, but have had bad experiences with em years ago tangling and what not but I see heaps of people use them these days didn't want to spend to much hoping around 200 and the rod something that's good for casting big lures and something that's not to flexible that when I'm reeling in the lure looks like I got a fish on haha, oh and I wanted to use like 20-30 pound braid

Hi guys just thought I'd throw this up just in case anybody has had or having or about to have this problem nothing major but a real pain in the butt... My watersnake was deploying but not locking in and under pressure just kept on kicking up upon closer inspection I noticed it was catching on the release mechanism I'm glad I didn't push any harder other wise I would of snapped the bar I was pushing pretty damn hard out of frustration and it bent it.... Yeah lucky it didn't snap and I got it back into shape... Just needed a file., hope this helps someone... Cheers omally
