Hi guys just thought I'd put this up even tho me and the boy didn't get anything.... Was an awesome looking day but we didn't get there till 9 am I think next time we'll get there around 4 pm and fish the arvo I think it was just to sunny not sure new to freshwater fish but I'm guessing early morning and late arvo and it's a huge place and our first time there .... Umm I must say but I did get a hit but that's it and only felt small.... I am a bit disappointed I tried my leccy for the first time today it's a watersnake but when I put it down the thing wouldn't lock in and when I powered it it would just bounce up have to take it apart and have a look the things brand new not happy hey, least we'd have more of a chance at catching something just couldn't sneak around.... But persistence persistence hey well get there hopefully... I think next time we'll head down batemans Bay chase a couple of flathead or something Cheers guys

I done this about 2 months ago sorry no before photos but I'm sure those who have a freedomsport could appreciate it.... I even angled the Bowrail down on an angle a Lil bit just for that mean look took a day to do but glad I did.... Found one before shot the bottom pic

Hi raiders just thought I'd throw up a couple of pics of another home job lure this one only took a bit over an hour to make not much detail when the paint drys properly might put some black on its belly it's a 110 mm hardwood lure... Heading to wyangala dam tomorrow and I had already made a surface lure so then I thought gonna need to dry a deep diver to the bib was made out of a stainless steel baby spoon that I flattened out haha and chucked a massive vmc hook I salvaged off a blue water ocean lure I found at the beach years ago.... My hopes aren't really that high for fish tomorrow as they reckon it holds 2 1/2 times of what's in Sydney Harbour alot of water to cover .. Butyeah hope it performs as well as my other one Cheers guys

Would be heaps better than trickle charging it from the motor anyway..... Depends on the size of the battery to I'm guessing to, I always use the 10amp setting on mine I've heard if it's not enough doesn't clean the plates as well as they get deposits that sit on them

Yeah I say if ya can carry it why not hey... My 2 Nd battery I got for my leccy is a hybrid deep cycle / cranking battery not sure how good they are ( will solely be used as a deep cycle unless I get into trouble) but that's what I was thinking I've had catastrophic battery failure before not on a boat but could only imagine
