G,day raiders just wondering when the best time for squiding is. I know night time is best. Does moon , weather , tides , ect have any effect, Are the summer months better or do you get them all year round. Any info would be much appreciated. Cheers

G,day all here,s a pic of a (mac tuna i think) my wife hooked up on our recent trip to the whitsundays. We hired a boat for 3 days nights and everywere we went we trolled a rapala pilchard type lure out the back of the boat. We also hooked a decent size spanish mackeral the day before. P.S she needed a little help to land it as it was a tuff little bugger. Cheers

First of all nice kings Dano (fellas). Anyway Myself and a couple of fellas were out fishing the other day for kings in the harbour early, 1st trying for squid around the spit ect, we only managed to catch 1 , nothing worse then starting your day off with 1 squid between 3 people , I couldnt help notice these 2 fellas (Dano1 and mate ) pulling squid in left right and centre ( bloody freeks ) we aproached them for some advice , rigs ect , and they were true gentleman even giving us a handfull of live squid , good to see 2 true blue ausies cleaning up. Thanks heaps fellas we owe you a
