use a no8 for both rocks and lake and use mono not braid narrabeen holds a lot of big fish all over 40cms at times peter

use cabbage or bread or both I rarely use weed off the rocks or the lake peter

hi all took my friends grand kids 7 and 9 year old girls for a first time blackie session at narrabeen lake I was kept busy from the first cast the 9year old hooked a 30cm and the 7year old netted it this went on for about an hour between them they ended up with 7 and just as many lost while they were netting one blackie a huge flathead tried to swallow it right at the net I estimated it about 5or 6 kg surprised how quick the two girls took to fishing as it was their first time ever I think I had just as much fun showing them their mum is off to the shop to get two new rods and reels today peter
