  1. some more: some rumbos were welcome during mid fight most of them averaged 7-8kg 80-90cm
  2. just arrived back from visiting my mate billo in QLD. fished each day looking for longtail tuna but the only schools we found were solid macs. playing with 5 schools each day was a bit upset we didnt find any longtails although the macs definately made a good alternative. all landed on my 7'6" nitro magnum butt with 4000 reel loaded with 10lb. most of the 1st runs from the steroid freaks lasted 1min. some pix of the weekend:
  3. ha ha ha, i havent stopped. they will be back out there on the dark moon of the warmer months. i found these other prawns from the US. they are packaged individualy so they never have a twisted tail tha new bomb
  4. berkly 5" jerkshad or stickbaits have been working for me lately. another ripper is the 100mm squidgy fish in black/gold a good jighead to use is the TT revhead. its a jighead with a spinning blade under neith it. just adds that extra bling

    Squid

i have this stuff called 'gary yamamoto' paste.......very similar to the mega strike that the bream fishos use. i have been using that on my jigs at one of my local squid wharves and landing more than others. i just think that they hang on the jig longer so you can set the spike better. i once burlyed up for yakkas out in botany bay and found squid turning up but no yakkas, lets just say i wasnt disapointed
  6. not forgetting blue ring occys too matt1119, if you find a good red population, keep it to yourself as they are getting harder and harder to find.......just tell me
