jewel is right. its an eastern frogfish. i landed one last year in the georges. i sent the pix to fisheries and the conculsion was an eastern frogfish. my pix as follows: certainly one of the ugliest fish i have ever seen

sorry to hear that knapers. we were also in nelsons bay for the weekend and didnt do much good. a few bonitos, snapper, bream and jackets. still great to be on the water with beer in that weather though. how was the fog in the mornings? made the headlands look all jurassic.....i was trying to spot t-rex

i would of thought that all your lures and sp's would be in a box trailer that you tow around everywhere you go

i have all my small bream and bass sp's in a plano container and all my jew/flathead/king sp's are kept in their packets and all thrown in the top part of my tacklebox.

im more of a fireline man myself although i did spool up my new baitcaster with squidgy braid and i love it. very thin diameter for the weight class of the line. no problems yet a while a go i spooled one of my threalines and received alot of spool tangles that was replaced pretty quickly. has anyone given that fireline XDS a decent work out? i'de be interested to hear what you guys have to say. i also need a few new spools on threadlines

yeah, i have landed quiet a few bass on the td pro 50. oh, and also a luderick up the shoalhaven cant see the difference between the jackall and daiwa's. at the start of the month we were at st clair and we were throwing jackalls and daiwa's and the only fish landed on the lipless was on the daiwa

i must confess, i do have a noodle it was a crappy 6'6" blank i got for $8. made it up for boat luderick fishing and works well

i recently got some juro firebaits. never seen them before. they are 2" stickbaits that look very realistic. i think they are definately going to give the bass minnow a run for its money and also my new duff beer popper

definately bloodworm #1 or #2. tail up. deadstick method with a small sharp twitch works for me

again, well done mate im glad to be a part of it. it was tough fishing though. a place of 1000 casts. today was bad. nothing at all but again the surface action lastnight was cool. only rats but atleast they had fins huh im just glad you got one after forking out $$$ for a jackall

as much as i can. definately every weekend both days and probably 3-4 times during the week day. pending weather of coarse but as swoff mentioned.........come jew season, every bloody day no matter how pissed of the girl gets

wow, they must of come back in or something. spoke to chris billo (f&d) and guys were coming in claiming they got spanish macs in the hacko when chris showed them a pic of a watsons they said "yeah, thats them but they were spanish macs"........go figure
