  4. Hey All Fishraiders, Was looking for some information regarding sydneys northern beaches, from Palm to Manly beaches. Going for a fish this sunday morning and thought we'd try the beach with one on my workmates, as I personally have not fished up this way some info would be greatly appreciated. Looking for a beach thats firing up at the moment for either salmon, tailor, bream or whiting. As this will be like a one off I'd like to make the most of it, I would like to know which beach be best minus the surfies and bathers and which end of the beach is best, best baits?. Also what car parking is available Thanks all, appreciate as much info as possible. sparky77

  16. Went to one of my usual haunts this morn down at longnose pt in Balmain, however it was choca's full of fisherman there , didnt seem to have caught anything, mind you not even any parking spots so I decided to make a move down to the beach at Kyeemagh, Botany bay. Waded out there using prawns for bait, fished the top on the tide and an hour after it. Surprisingly caught quite a few just undersize Bream which put up great fights on light gear, heaps of whiting about, kept 4 legal sized whiting. Absolutely wonderful weather this morning overcast and a very light SE breeze. Went for a walk through the cooks river breakwalls at botany bay yesterday arvo must have been near the top of the tide where I witnessed one of the young boys there pull up a good size bream just under a kilo! Good to see some decent fish being pulled out of here. Have noticed the bay is firing up alot better than previous years with heaps of legal sized bream and whiting and there have been some monster flathead been lost here. Good luck all!!!
  17. Hey all Fishraiders, finally decided to sign up after my mate mentioned the site to me a few months back. As I tend to go fishing at times sometimes quite often, thought I might let others know whats on the bite and what baits the go for the time. I tend to do a bit of rockfishing around Sth Maroubra thru to Malabar, a bit of boat fishin in Botany bay, Port Jackson and Hawkesbury with my mates boat now that I've sold mine, and I really like beach fishin botany bay, maroubra and Nth Cronula beaches. Hopefully soon will be posting my fishin expeditions so all can get an idea whats on. Hope all had a Merry Christmas and now to a New year full of good fishin! I hope! Cheers all, sparky77
