Great report. I wouldn't of thought the ikejime would make much difference to a flattie but there ya go.

Great report Trung, it's great to see you are back.

Thanks mate just had a look there is a sanctuary zone near Barnes rocks so will stay away from there. What does the special zone on tea gardens Side of Myall river down to bridge prohibit
This is from the fish smart app. It shows your location relative to the sanctuary zones as well.
The note In the first picture applies to the yellow zone. I hope that helps.

It's good to hear it worked out for you Rebel. Awesome photos but scary to think about being there.

Thanks Wazza that's awesome. I don't know why but I never really twigged they bury in the sand like that despite prawning a few times.

Well done two very nice fish. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
After more than 30 years I'm finally getting back to Port Stephens for a week over the holidays 😊😊.-

Great flattie and report. Congrats. I'd be super stoked if I caught a croc that size, a good reward for your persistence.
I spent half the time reading just trying to imagine how you go about fishing off a stand up paddle board.

Zoran I like the idea of rolling up clears instead of removing them.
I was quite impressed with the 650F signature at the boat show but didn't have much time to compare them.
I like the idea of overnighting but not sure if it would be the same in reality.

It's always good hearing the harbour producing. Well done on smokes all round.

I have never been rescued but it's great knowing they are there. The log in service is great too.
Can't complain about drifting in the right direction and getting some tasty fillets whilst waiting.

I'd call getting 1/2 a dozen squid in an hour a good day!

I posted a question about this topic just now in "the bar".
I'll ask here too......are my outboard's earmuffs a "purpose designed flushing device"?
I messaged Sydney Water this evening, hopefully they can clarify this tomorrow and respond to my question
I'm saying definitely yes.If they are not purposely designed for flushing what was the other reason they were designed?

Some very nice kingy candy there. Have you had any success on the kings? Well done posting what's working for you atm.

The scooter thing comes in particularly during water sports. Skier on the beach give him the rope observer or driver scooters the boat out, slack disappearing on the top and go.
-
I am a bit like Noel and kind of scooter my boat away from the beach before hopping in.
Nice looking steps Frank very handy skills you have.
Tuncurry is a great place

What a top place to spend a couple of weeks. Luckily the fires didn't wreck you holiday.
