  2. raiders, i have got a daiwa liberty 2500 on a berkley attack 3-5kg rod can anyone please tell me what they are like and if it would be good for bream and is it good for braid use any help will be gretly appreciated cameron

  4. 8kg line will be fine i would use a mt8120 it will suit ya perfect u could pick up a nice snyder or wilson make good uns too i picked up a mt8120 wilson were i live for 40 bucks and it is great okuma make excellent reels for the price the avenger will do ya fine ive caught heaps on mine and it hasnt bailed yet so they must be ok just make sure you clean it and look after it i would use braid because you will get mutch betta feeling for the 2nd combo im not the expert in lighta stuff sum1 else should be able to help ya out there hope it helps any more questions just drop me a P.M cameron

  10. i use about 6,6 rods of the boat and they work i recently got a 7ft ugly stik and it doesent give as much leverage as mentioned but is certainly still use able on my bottom bashing outfit i have got a cheap penn mariner rod made to suit a gto reel from a department store about 60bucks with the reel it costs and i have landed a 16kg mullaway on it and a tonn of rays on it and it is ok certainly works aswell and it is 6foot cameron
  11. if you are going for monsta kings and jewies i would use 50lb braid + where i live we get sambos and 50lb still cant stop them BUT if you want to have fun good on ya go light a light capture is always more valueable than on heavy gear watever u choose i hope you enjoy it tightlines cameron

  13. sounds like a scary trip i was once spinning for salmon off our boat and a 8 foot bronzie came from under our boat and just about hit my lure i had my feet hanging over the edge thats the last time my feet ever go over cameron

  19. definatley the shorter the rod the more power you have but the mojority of time is spent casting and holding longer rod may get out to a school of fish small rod will be a bummer as you wont be able to cameron
